There is TONS leftover for lunch/dinner tomorrow. Also - portions are HUGE! We could have split a lo mein. That’s why I ordered some basics tonight… testing them out again… and we both LOVED the lo mein and fried rice (love our carbs I suppose!). Our last time we recently ordered, I didn’t like the mongolian beef quite as much as I do from other places… the beef was kind of «soggy» and no crispiness to to it. Daughter ( 11) even said «I don’t even mind the peas and carrots in this, it’s so good!» Okay, that’s a huge WIN in my book! The chicken lo mein and pork lo mein were also very good. The items we ordered tonight were exceptional. Wasn’t sure after reading so many poor reviews, but my daughter had this recently at a friend’s house and loved it. It's absolutely ridiculous.Ordered delivery tonight… used to get delivery from here 10 – 15 years ago in our other house, but decided to try again tonight (tried one other time a month or two ago also). My husband worked for several Chinese restaurants before, including deliveries, and never saw a customer banned for something like this. WHAT?!!!! I've NEVER been so insulted by any place before, and this is just unheard of. Seemed to understand it and confirmed both.Īn hour later, we got one order of some mush that looked like little strips of red beef in onion slush! I called them, and a young Chinese American guy apologized for the mistake and would send the right order out - although it would be another hour.Īll seemed ok, until I opened the order, flipped the receipt over, and found written, "It's you mistake - we no do you business anymore - manager Dragon Express"! He asked if I wanted the noodles or vegetables, and I said no, I want the pork egg patties for egg foo young. I ordered the family dinner for two, with sesame chicken and pork egg foo young. They screwed up our order, and then FIRED us as customers, refusing to do business with us again - and it was only the second time we ever tried them! Chao Lin the owner doesn't understand that a bad attitude is a reflection of piss poor leadership. He never once apologized for his employee or asked what he could do to keep our business. After my son called the owner over the dispute the next day he informed me that he was as unhelpful as his staff. My son has been in the Food industry for 20 years and if one of his employees talked to his guests like that, they would be looking for another job. My wife answered the door for the food yesterday and made the comment "I hope you guys didn't make the food dry." The delivery guy said "Last time I was here you asked if the food was good and now this." Then told my wife, didn't ask, "Just sign the ticket, I have alot of deliveries to make." In a very rude manner. Employees are rude and act as if thier doing you a favor for you ordering thier food. Sometimes it's great, other times it SUCKS! Its like playing the lotto.
